CLASS A2

The motorcycle license up to 35 kW

What are you allowed to ride?
Motorcycles (also with sidecar) with an engine power of no more than 35 kW, where the ratio of power to weight does not exceed 0.2 kW/kg, which are not derived from a motorcycle with an engine power of more than 70 kW.
Transitional right: Class A restricted driving licenses issued before 19.01.2013 are automatically valid as class A (unrestricted) after two years.

Minimum age: 18 years
Included classes: A1 and AM

Theoretical training:
Without prior possession:
12 x 90 min. basic material, 4 x 90 min. class-specific lessons

With previous possession of class A1 (within 2 years):
6 x 90 min. basic material, 4 x 90 min. class-specific lessons

Attention when upgrading to A2!!!
When upgrading from category A1 to A2 after 2 years, no theoretical training and theoretical examination is required.
