The motorcycle license up to 125 ccm

What are you allowed to ride?
Motorcycles (also with sidecars) with an engine capacity of up to 125 cm³ and an engine power of no more than 11 kW, where the ratio of power to weight does not exceed 0.1 kW/kg and three-wheeled motor vehicles with symmetrically arranged wheels and an engine capacity of more than 50 cm³ for internal combustion engines or a maximum design speed of more than 45 km/h and with an engine power of up to 15 kW.

Minimum age: 16 years
Included class: AM

Theoretical training:
Without prior possession:
12 x 90 min. basic material, 4 x 90 min. class-specific lessons
With previous ownership:
6 x 90 min. basic material, 4 x 90 min. class-specific lessons

Practical training:
Practice drives: as required
Prescribed special trips:
At least: 5 x 45 min. overland, 4 x 45 min. highway and 3 x 45 min. lighting.

Theoretical test:
- 30 questions for first-time candidates
- max. 10 demerit points
- (with 10 FP not passed if 2 x 5 FP)
- 20 questions for extension (max. 6 demerit points)

Practical examination:
- 70 minutes examination time
- Technical driving preparation before starting the test drive
- Driving in and out of town
- possibly highway
- 3 of 5 basic driving tasks

Theoretical test / practical test:
The theory test can be taken 3 months and the practical test 4 weeks before reaching the minimum age.
