Are you already allowed to drive a car and would like to be able to switch to motorcycles from now on? Is a 125cc (class A1) enough for you? Then you have the option of extending your class B driving license with the key number B196, and you can do this without taking an additional test.
The application to the authorities
In order to get a driver's license, you must submit an application to the responsible authority.
The following documents are required:
- Application form
- Biometric passport photo
- Copy of valid ID card/passport, front and back
- Eye test (not older than 2 years)
- Proof of a first aid course
- Copy of driving license (if extended)
Important requirements for the practical test!!!
For tests in classes A, A2, A1, complete suitable motorcycle protective clothing is mandatory. This consists of a suitable motorcycle helmet, motorcycle gloves, a tight-fitting motorcycle jacket, a back protector (if not integrated into the motorcycle jacket), motorcycle trousers and motorcycle boots with sufficient ankle protection.
